Multi-core automotive cables have been specially developed for use in vehicles. They consist of several individual wires that are combined in a common sheath.
These cables are used to connect various electrical components in a vehicle. This includes, for example, the wiring of the engine, lighting systems, battery and other electronic devices in the vehicle.
Multi-core vehicle cables must meet certain safety standards to ensure a reliable and safe power supply in the vehicle. For example, they must be heat-resistant to withstand the high temperatures in the engine compartment, and they must also be protected against short circuits to prevent possible fires.
The sheathing of the multi-core vehicle cables consists of insulating material such as PVC or rubber to protect the cores from external influences such as moisture, heat or mechanical stress. The cover is also flexible enough to adapt to the movements of the vehicle.
